PODCAST SCHEDULING AND CANCELATION FEES POLICY
Podcast Scheduling Date Holds & Tentative Bookings:
Dates are not reserved until confirmed in writing by both parties. Requests to “hold” or tentatively reserve a date do not guarantee availability until confirmed. At discretion of the studio, a temporary hold may be placed on a requested date and time for up to 24 hours.
During this period, the date remains available to other clients. If another booking request is received for the same date and time, the Client holding the tentative reservation will be notified and given the opportunity to confirm the booking within 4 hours. If confirmation is not received within that timeframe, the date may be released without further notice.
Availability Requests:
Availability is provided for planning purposes only and is subject to change at any time. Requests for availability across extended date ranges (e.g., multiple weeks or a full month) do not constitute a hold on any dates. Dates will continue to be offered to other clients on a firstcome, first-served basis.
For clients requiring coordination across multiple schedules, we recommend selecting 2–3 preferred times and dates for temporary hold consideration, subject to the terms above. Repeated requests for broad availability without confirmation of a booking may be deprioritized in favor of confirmed or actively booking clients.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing. The following fees apply based on notice provided prior to the scheduled session:
• 72 hours (3 days): 25% of total booking
• 48 hours (2 days): 50% of total booking
• 24 hours (1 day): 75% of total booking
• Same day or no-show: 100% of total booking
Rescheduling requests made within 72 hours of the session will be treated as cancellations and subject to the same fees. All fees are based on the full quoted booking amount, including studio time and any agreed services.
RECORDING STUDIO POLICY
- There is a 2 hour minimum per session, and must be pre-paid to book.
- All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE within 72 hours of scheduled session.
- Session begins at the scheduled time whether you’re here or not.
- Session overage time will be prorated by 30 minute intervals
- Studio rates are subject to change without prior notice.
- It is the client’s responsibility to bring their music or previous sessions on a standard media device such as a flash drive. We can download files at the studio but will be counted towards your scheduled time.
- Capital Mixers will not be held liable for any legal disputes that may arise while conducting business with you. Such as copyright infringement, we assume that clients own the copyright or rights for all materials used during their sessions. No guests that are not part of the creation process allowed, unless previously approved by the engineer.
- There may be a $10 per hour fee for each additional artist recording during the session.
- Max people included in session price : Studio A (8), Studio B (4)
- “No call, No show” appointments will no longer be able to book sessions without pre-paying in full the entire session in advance, as well as the previous balance of missed session.
- Online or work for hire invoices must be paid before we can start work.
- Capital Mixers is not responsible to save your sessions for more than 1 month from session date. Although we often save sessions for as long as possible it is not our responsibility to do so. We are not responsible for sessions lost due to hard drive failure. If you are concerned with keeping your sessions or stems, please bring a personal drive for us to store your sessions too.
- Digital Delivered Files will be removed from our server after 24 hours. There is a $25 fee for re-delivery of digital delivery of files.
- All intellectual works remain property of Capital Mixers unless signed over to you in writing.
Capital Mixers Studios Payment and Refund Policy
We accept all major Credit Cards (5% fee), Cash, Apple Pay, Zelle, Bank Transfers.
All refunds are at the discretion of JGI Media / Capital Mixers and final.
